Photographer’s Note
One of my personal favorites from the Venice trip.
I had to rest the cam on the wall itself to hold it still. The idea was to get a strong perspective and then get some motion blur from a passer by.
The pic was heavily cropped to give a compo which divides it down the middle. Other PS work included levels and curves. I particular, I had to brighten out the passing girl to make her stand out. Could have gone BW but I like it much better in colour.

Great shot - conveys movement and atmoshere through the blury-ness and use of thr corrugated iron wall.

This is great, Mikkel.
Your point of focus on the metal shutters, while a little "random", has worked very well. I like how everything else is out of focus, and this focus blur combines well with the movement blur of the passer-by.
Good control of lighting too; very atmospheric.
I like it.

Mikkel: subtle play with perspective and DOF in this interesting picture. Perhaps you could have remained longer to capture other approaching pedestrians. Fine shot. regards, c

Hello Mikkel
There is something strange in this capture, just the feeling.
Very nice, indeed!

Hello Mikkel
A great point of view. You have created a great atmosphere. The use of colour is almost always a good choice - as they say, if colour film had been invented first, would anyone shoot black and white?
Nice work.
Cheers

Hi Mikkel, i like this composition and the result..
Perhaps the subject is too in a dark area, but it is very intersting to see some people at the end of the road..
Very good night composition and original POV!
ciao!

Nice one Mikkel, probably this would my fav too. The play of DOF worked great here. I also like the felling of the night in the frame.

hi Mikkel,
Love this pov. Excellent perspective that works marvellously with the evening lights. The inclusion of the blurry people would have been even more perfect had one of them been more clearly defined against the bg, but even so it is one great moody shot.
Take care,
sasa
