Photographer’s Note
this was taken during the Martin luther king day on jan 15th.
the reason i post it is becuase of the current political climate in the United States, you have the majority of the people saying bring the troops home, stop the war ect.. ect.. and you have the president and politiciens justifying sending more troops, investing more money and promoting another war against Iran. 'you will be hearing the propaganda michine very soon on a news channel near you'
After President Bush state of union speech few days ago, millions of Americans from all states rallied against his agenda of putting more troops in Iraq. the highest march was yesterday in D.C.
i was assigned to documemnt this march and i normally carry a vioce recorder, so this man in the picture said many things one of them I write below;
“We have come to be one of the worst ruled, one of the most completely controlled and dominated Governments in the world — no longer a government of free opinion, no longer a Government by conviction and vote of the majority, but a Government by the opinion and duress of small groups of dominant men.” :Woodrow Wilson - From his Campaign Speeches, 1912

Hi Robert
As I understood, this is a demonstration for peace, and it's well documented by you.
Furthermore, it was during Martin Luther King day.
So, if there is the need for these demonstrations (and especially, African-American people demonstrating), it means that Luther King's dream didn't happen yet.

PS- I want to mark your note as useful, but it seems the system is not responding.
