Photographer’s Note
During our visits in the Angkor vat temples, i saw this guy sitting in an interesting pose between the pillars. i took a quick shot and here is the result.
i know this could have been cropped tighter to the left but i did not want to alter the original frame to leave him some living open space around him;-) My choice! i accept yours too, should it be different;-)

Nice shot Eric, I don't mind the centered composition here, maybe because it reminds me of a shot of my own. Personally, I would have dialed back the saturation on the yellow, but that may be more personal than anything else. It does look as though this has been run through Neat Image to me and perhaps the NI has smoothed things out a little too much. Good shot, brings back some of my own memories of Cambodia.

The lighting here is superb. Natural light cascaded through the colors of his skin and of his shirt. No, I won't crop it tighter on the left. Though I am for tight cropping, this shot I would rather leave as it is. It gives the man a sense of freedom.
To each his own...

Well taken here, he is looking directly at your camera, well spotted and I like the building too, very old and traditional

Hi Eric, great portrait, very natural pose and the pillars provide a great frame. The dark background contrasts well with the colours of his clothes and face causing the man to really stand out. Only after reading Darren's comment did i notice slight evidence of perhaps over using Neat image - I have the same problem with that program. All in all a very good photograph. Bravo

hi Eric, nice picture, interesting guy in a great window, I really like those Angkor windows, so photogenic. I'd work on the composition a bit thoug - a bit too central for me in this case. anyway, it is a nice shot

Good expression captured.
I like it more if the space cropped, but like you've said, its your choice, its only a matter of taste.
Provia give a red cast to skin tone, but still nice to see.
