Small Camp - Big Wall Photo

Photographer’s Note

This place is by a lake called Keitung. It took us two days to walk out there. So, this is about as far away from anything civilized as you can find in Europe.

The pic is obviously (I hope) a study in scale. The idea is to contrast the tiny camp with the big wall behind it. I tried from a couple of angles and decided that simply walking away from the camp was the most effective illustration. It served the double purpose of diminishing the tens and include more of the wall.

Hello Mikkel,

At the first time, I was thinking about the big wall of Yosemite; after I saw it was in Suede.
The tents at the bottom give well the dimension and they attract the look, but it is clear the subject is still the wall. Well done.
