Photographer’s Note
Is it the same woman, painted many years before, with the same towel on her head???

Bonjour Joel,
T'as eu la chance d'être au bon endroit au bon moment pour avoir réussi à attraper ces 2 personnages
Coïncidence quand tu nous tiens !
J'aime bien le contraste entre les couleurs vives sur la jeunesse et le terne sur la vieillesse
A bientôt

Hello Joel,
interesting comparison. well composed and good colors.
i only regret, that focus is on the wall's painting, instead of woman's face.
but anyway, great piece of work.

Great shot here Joel, I don't think you could have got a better subject to walk past the artwork. Did you have to wait long?

Bonsoir Joel,
Coincidences, coincidences. I smile a little because the shot I posted today tell too about the coincidences! Well, this one is really fantastic, and you shows here an eye always ready for the good shots. This shot tells too about the real life and the way in which the art idealizes the real, but it's very beautiful the compo. Congratulations, and best wishes,
Angel.

Salut Joel, lovely catch, remarkable how these headdresses and the faces (though on a different plane and different ages) rhyme here. Wonderful moment, lots to compare here... now I go and look into the mirror...

Hello, Joel--
Great work here, this juxtaposition is very well seen. The old lady does seem to be a weary version of the painting, but they seem separated by so much more than a few feet, the differences in lighting almost seem to give the effect of passing years. i feel like for the soft focus on the lady to work it maybe needs to be just a little bit softer, but i like the idea here.
Thanks!
sam
i'll be back tomorrow.
