Everyday scene from the most picturesque city in the world: Venice!
Tried to provide depth and perspective via the DOF. But it was tricky because I also wanted the figure in the background to be discernible. And, since he was moving, it was a snapshot opportunity, so I only had a few attempts. With some PS work (playing with curves, primarily) I think it came out OK.
The fact that there is a lower left to upper right diagonal is a result of cropping and not a compositional choice that I had time to make at the time of shooting.

I like this composition very much with this front part of gondola in foreground!.
Settings are great too.
