Photographer’s Note
This image was taken from the trail heading towards Mt. Everest. The trek from Jiri to Namche Bazaar involves lots of climbing. The trail crosses several ridges followed by descend down to the river. This up and down trekking crosses 5 major rivers. This is very exhausting but gets you well acclimatised for the higher elevations in the coming days. This portion of the hike is very beautiful; the hills are full of vegetation, the villages colourful. But what really makes it special is learning about the fascinating culture of the local people and experiencing the kindness and hospitality of these amazing people.

Hi Spiros,
Beautiful view? I like those green fields in the foreground, there is a beautiful light on it. It gives a good depth of field.
Cheers,
Delphine
