Learning to Fly Photo

Photographer’s Note

While taking photos of the Pacific coastal landscape, I noticed this paraglider in the distance flying through the air so effortlessly. I waited until he/she flew into my frame and snapped this image. I hope you like it.

Hi Spiros,

that is a wonderful shot, goes straight into my favourites.
The man (or woman) is rising his arms, so it seem that he wants to get higher and higher.
The sharpness is fine and the POV and colours are and is very good.

A beautiful view of Netart Bay and the paraglider nicely completes it. Makes one wish being up there and enjoying an even more spectacular view.
ps: I can highly recommend the House on the Hill Motel in Oceanside on the other side of this bay, it has even more spectacular views, right from the bed that is!
