Photographer’s Note

The day... not the day. The night before taking this photo I was eating a supper with my friends. We were sitting on the great balcony. I had a place opposite to this. By night there was only darkness and we were chatting, trying to guess what is hidden here... The result suprised all of us...

It's a really beautiful landscape, in fact at first glance it reminds me a little of Australia with those red rocks (and all those forested slopes remind me of the Blue Mountains near Sydney!). The light here is excellent, it's a great photo.

Hi Olaf,

Nice scenery, I like the rough nature presented in this shot. All those rocks. Good sharpness and nice exposure, atleast on the foregrond. I like the warm light, and shadowportions.
The sky in the back is a bit bright, and quite greeny. I wouldn't know what to do with it though. I like the curvy heavily vegetated hills in the background.
Nice catch, well done!

Great shot! I like the atmospheric effect of the haze, which really makes the hills appear farther and farther away. Nice light too, with a kind of golden glow. Well done!
