LE FINESTRE DI CASA GUIDI

Non posso che meditare su questa sponda
dell'Arno dorato mentre saetta
tagliando il cuore di Firenze, sotto i quattro
curvi ponti, che come archi paiono tendersi,
e sussultano, mentre la corrente, come freccia,
continua a saettare, e a fendere, scorrendo, il marmo,
E batte contro i muri dei palazzi su ambedue le sponde,
e di spuma copre i cunei sporgenti
. . .

I can but muse in hope upon this shore
Of golden Arno as it shoots away
Straight through the heart of Florence, ‘neath the four
Bent bridges, seeming to strain off like bows,
And tremble, while the arrowy undertide
Shoots on and cleaves the marble as it goes,
And strikes up palace-walls on either side,
And froths the cornice out in glittering rows,

che bella photo questa e... kompozisyonun çok romantik... kuleyle köprü çok iyi dengelemiş birbirlerini... sudaki akisler şahane, altın tonları ve yeşil dokunuşları da... neatimage ise büyülü bir hava yaratmış.

I love the peace of this scene, calming and beautiful. The golden tones are great, and appearing alongside such a great reflection this is a top shot. Well done.

Interesting color dominant, somewhere halfway between colors and sepia. The square framing may not please everybody but I'm not a frame integrist anyway so why not, in the end a very pleasant view.

exceptionnel tout simplement, un vrai miroir cette eau. La couleur est casi uniforme de haut en bas, tout est lisse.
