Photographer’s Note
This is one of two pedestrian bridges crossing the thames between Waterloo station and Embankment. I believe they were inaugurated during the Jubilee year.
You can see the London eye on the other side of the bridge

Hello Eric,

Clever playing with OE here, great use of light, especially the way the eye is blanched out to its left.

This is really good. Eric. It seems to capture perfectly the atmosphere of a bright, cold winter's day in London.
The light is wonderful, and I like especially how the London Eye appears almost like a halo around the head of the man on the bridge.
I also like the cross-processed look; it's not too overpowering and I think it adds to the impact of your shot.
Great!
Cheers,
Ben

Hi Eric,
fantastic shot!! I love everything in this extraordinary pic, composition, colors, overexposure... and specially the way the London eye surrounds the reading man silouette. GREAT!! :)
TFS.
Best regards.

I will not mark this as a favorite because i've never did it ... but it is a favorite to me. Really surprising photo Eric, maybe the best one i've seen around lately (and this may be unfair to other great photos), but this one made me smile after seeing it.
You nail it perfectly, well done.

Eric: I'm not sure what you've been doing with your PP lately, but it yields a very surreal tone. This is really good stuff, in the artistic sense. regards, c

a lovely high contrast shot eric.. a very successful pp but i wonder why you left those splashes of green... surprised no one mentioned it, this screams b&w to me... maybe i'm wrong, too bad i don't have more time to try a ws... other than that my only wish is that the bottom right was a bit less empty (no big deal) a great photo overall, the bridge and the wheel together (perhaps not enough just by themselves) makes the place instantly recognizable..

Love it, Eric!
What a great contrasty shot! The compo is excellent, the London Eye circling the man's head is fantastic as it fades away, the colours are exquisite... what can I say? Love it, Eric. Strong and gutsy work, full of graphism.

Bonsoir Eric,

Great shot into the light Eric. The silhouetted guy on the right adds good interest and green colour tones work really well. TFS. Leon.

Not much needs be said here Eric, definitely struck a winning shot here; the high contrast, exaggerated perspective and the sihouettes are all brilliant and I'm surprised by how little PP work was needed to 'cross process' it looking at your workshop.

Salut Eric,
Ha la j'accroche! Comme ca t'as vu un ange a Londres... Bonne "POV".
