Photographer’s Note

He is a poor student at Ecole Normale. She is the daughter of an Algerian immigrant, who works evenings at her father's shop. His jacket is split at the seams; he must mend it before the winter snow. She is happy to get the job. And that is how they meet.
[Of course a figment of my imagination, but who knows?

Overall good stuff Animesh,

Id think about clipping a bit off the black on the left, its a bict thick there. Thats pretty much my only "objection" rest is very good.

Fine composition, fine image making. The B/W suits the theme so well. And the whole thing so suits your imagination.

Hello Animesh. A beautiful photo with good text in B&W. Strong contrasts and nevertheless good grey tones. The documentary photo is also very informative. A good achievement. Best regards, Wolfgang.
