Photographer’s Note

Second in the series of Extasia...

Technology... camera integrated to mobile phone... people used to say "oh you know, it is handy to have a camera in your mobile phone.." It looked like most of the people in the fair seemed to agree or at least happy that they had a camera or video recorder integrated to their mobile.

Truly a very intersting and unusual photo.
I do like the title!
Overall a very dark photo, but having most parts in a blur and only the phone camera as a sharp reference makes for a big difference.
The blur is nice to shroud the "target" and leave a bit of mystery.... and for use men something to fantasize about!

Once again I love your artistic side in this shot, great bokeh and I love the colour, its not a glamorous colour but more of a seedy look which suits the scene. Great stuff Bala.

Je vois que tu es allé t'encanailler au Salon Extasia! ;o)
J'aime bien cette image qui, d'après ce qu j'ai pu lire dans les journaux, est assez représentative de ce que l'on pouvait voir à Morges ce week-end (tous les gens qui prenaient des photo). Comme Sylvie, je crois que j'aurais préféré que l'image sur l'écran du téléphone soit un peu plus nette, mais je trouve ton idée très bonne.

Woaw, so strange photo ! good idea to take a shot of a shot being taken. Yes, mobile phones are equipped with cameras and that lead ssometimes to strange and dangerous situations such as filming or shooting violent scenes created on purpose.
About the photo, I would have liked the image on the screen of the mobile phone sharper.

wow, Bala, this is wicked. I love the subject matter. People taking photos can be a greta subject themselves, and here you give us a rwally spicy one, the girl is unmissable. Theres also this really strong subversve feel here thanks to the blur and the colors.

Usually, people do not like to announce that they have been to such places - however "in the name of photography", I like that you abandoned your anonimity in this situation.

I am quite intrigued - didn't they ask you not to take pictures? Is it a real woman? Naive questions, but please do tell!

I think you could have cropped in a little next to the phone, as the big black space is alittle unneccessary. I am also a littel bothered by that purple blob at the top, as it is a little too vague to be recognised - at the same time, it is too vivid to be ignored (if that makes any sense!)...

Currently writing on an empty stomach, hence the blurb... yes, I india at the moment - I will be here for the following 5 months (if I can stand the heat)... Thank you for all your recent critiques...
