Photographer’s Note
Happy Easter TE! Happy Easter everyone.
I went through my files and looked for an Easter related shot and this is what I found.
I took this picture in Seville Spain. On my own, I went through the narrow streets of the center and came across this church.
I wondered about this thin cloth/screen that they put in front of it. Construction? Renovation? Protecting people from falling debris. Then all of the sudden, a pegion swooped down in front of me. Then I realized that it was to protect people from pigeon droppings. You can see of them by the edge of the screen.
For me, I looked at it as a veil. A beautiful veil in fact (for picture's purposes).

Before I read your note the first detail I really noticed, and liked, were the pigeons. Good PoV and the mesh creates an unusual but efective atmosphere for church viewing.
I suspect the screen may be a sun screen, even if it doubles as a pigeon screen, but it doesn't seem to be covered in droppings.

The veil goes so well with the concept of Easter, the world in darkness and then the light is shown. Very cool photo very fitting of the holiday. Happy Easter.

Ditto
The red veil also compliments the red paint on the church wall, & the gradation to cyan (top left) is also interesting.

Strange colors.. Nice catch anyway. Those cloth are beccause of the pidgeons I believe; to avoid getting something on your head..

Happy Easter to you too, Manny. An interesting view here, with the veil occupied by some pigeons, and the old church building in the background. Colors and details are well seen from a fine angle - good shot.

Interesting shot and note. That's the second pigeon protector I've seen on TrekEarth today, and I can't I've noticed any before.

Interesting story behind this colourful and cheerful picture, Manny! :-)
You composed the veil just perfectly as it reveals enough of the fine architecture details and at the same time keeps the top shyly hidden behind. Excellent!
