Photographer’s Note
I'm a cool, c o o l dude
I saw him in that 'thing' on the fair on the Dam square in Amsterdam where we met for a more or less spontaneous TE gathering.
He was almost bursting with self confident, this 'man-to-be', open jacket, ignoring any cold.
Anyway, I think he will get where he wants in life, I guess.

Wonderful shot, Rinie! He is one cool dude, for sure! And what is most adorable about him is that he knows it so well! :-)
The moment you captured, Rinie, again reflects both your sense of perfect timing and that of colours and tones.... the shot is vibrant, alive, like this dude!
take care, nice to see you back!

Yo Rinie, this is great portrait of this 'stoere' kid. You caught his expression very well and the bright coloured and tighly orchestrated graphics surrounding him, makes this one really rock, like the kid might indeed do in some years. Great job !
Selamat tidoer for later,
Bert

A really striking shot Rinie - I was waiting for one from you! The colours here and the graphic integrity of it are really effective and contribute as a wonderful supporting cast to this portrait of this 'sussed' lad who looks on top of his game - really well framed and I love the big white border which sets this off so effectively.
best wishes Kev

Hey Rinnie! - oops only one 'n'
Realising seeing this shot that it's been sometime since I last critiqued any of your shots.
He does have quite a confident / cheeky expression, and you captured it well. He obviously knew you were taking his photo.
Great clarity on the Nikon D70 and realistic colors.
All the best Rinie!

Hi dear: This little man is going to be the chief of human resources in a big company in the future... How are you dear? I like his position here, at the right with so many room on the right side of the frame. Colors and sharpness are extremely well done. Take care and PLEASE, visit us more often... Lots of love from Madrid.
PD: In a second look I notice he´s wearing the T-shirt of the Barcelona Football team :-)

Hi Rinie,
I'm happy to see your shots! I know you're really busy, but I enjoy when you post something. This shot is a very beautiful portrait. The expression of this child is fantastic, humorous, ironic, funny. I would say this little boy flirts a little with your cam. I think it's possible to find here a dialog between him and you. Very well realized and seen, Rinie. It's a big pleasure for the sight and the heart! Thanks.
Angel.

Hello Rinie,

What a stoere jongen, in that maze of colour, my first thought was of liquorice allsorts but I see I am not the first. Timing is good, Rinie, to capture that self=assured look in his eyes.

I'd like to take photos of young strangers, but because these weirdos are always men, I'd be seen as one :(
His parents would love this shot I'm sure.
Love the colours filling the frame.

It looks like that licorice candy we call english and that I hate ;) But the picture is a fine catch both of his expression and of a human caught in an almost unreal play of colors and geometries. Nice short DOF.

Hi Rinie, I think this young lad looks slightly ruefull as if he's poised on the brink, confident but still not quite sure of where he's going...His head is perfectly framed in the middle of the seat, the bright bold colours suggest a way forward. Really quite symbolic with the red, yellow & blue. It was great meeting you again - I very much enjoyed the day with everyone. The drawing I did of you I intend to copy so that I can send it to you. Cheers, Frances

Hi Rinie.
I think that I am not the first who say it: his t-shirt of the FC Barcelona.
Well, the main photo and the WS are good. But, obviously, this one had to be the main photo.
The composition and his face look nice, as also the colours.
Simple. And I like it.
Regards from... Barcelona.
