Photographer’s Note

Me and my wife recently visited my relatives in Alberta, Canada, and during our stay there, they showed us some of Alberta's stunning sceneries. This one's in Banff (at the middle foreground, barely visible since the town is small). This was taken while riding in one of the gondolas which lead visitors up to the Sulphur mountain viewing deck. The viewing deck is 7,486ft/2.281m above sea level, and it offers a grand view of the Canadian Rockies. We were lucky the weather cooperated most of the day, however there was a a major snowfall the next day.

A tourist's view of banff. Such a beautiful place. The weather in our province changes every ten minutes so I am not surprised snow fell the next day. Nice picture and very good point of view. I hope you enjoyed your visit to this little mountain town.

A beautiful mountain landscape!
Well composed image with good colours, I'm amazed by all the green this late in the year, but then here is mostly evergreens present!
Good sky and fine details all over!

Alford I think this best one I have seen. I just wondered how far from Bawf alberta Canada this is. My Great Grand parents met and married and live there young years together. Then left to come back to the state and finaly found there way to San Deigo Calif. Its the bomb ! love it ..
