Autumn floating layers Photo

Photographer’s Note

Today it was a fantastic day.
A clear, sunny, warm autumn day.
I walked thru the colours of the nature
enjoying the peace of the mountain.

On the way down a little fog rised up
from the plains creating several layers
of the far mountains,
they were like floating.

In the middle you can see mt. Monviso (mt. 3.841).
This mountain is also famous as it was chosen as symbol by Paramount.

I think your note tells everything, great mood... i like to portrait people and walk in the streets, but i feels good from time to time to escape and just go to the peace of the nature.

This is a superb view, you were lucky to witness it and be able to share it with the rest of us. Including the vegetation in front was an excellent choice. The different layers of colours is fantastic. Thank you for sharing.

I think my heart just broke into little pieces as it could not stand all the beauty it was just presented with...
What a magnificent place to walk in. I think some envy has just added itself to the whole too-much-beauty-death of mine... :D
I don't think there are any words that could even attempt giving a great enough critique to your shot. It is simply majestic, magnificent, perfect. The colours are laughing and the shapes dancing. What beauty! What an Earth!

Bonsoir Luca,

Les feuilles orangées du premier plan font toute la compo ! Elles donnent de l'éclat et de la couleur et contrastent joliment avec un arrière-plan brumeux et discret.

J'aime beaucoup ce genre d'image avec ces plans brumeux étagés et ce premier plan qui donne beaucoup de profondeur à l'ensemble. Belle photo, Luca!

Questo è bellissimo con la bruma sullo sfondo e le foglie dorate in primo piano: è da 6 anni che non vedo un'autunno e la tua foto mi ha fatto gustare i suoi colori.

I can only join the chorus of admirers of this photo. And indeed, it is as fantastic as any other you've submitted. It's a beautiful view from Turin, which I saw for the first time last summer. On July 18 I journedyed for the day from Turin to Milan, where I had a "private audience" with the 'Last Supper.' (infinitely more gratifying to commune with Leonardo than with a Pope). I am the author of a book on Leonard, and a minor kindred spirit. But how Leonardo would have loved his beloved Tuscan and Lombard countryside as you have photographed it! I look forward to gradually wandering through your gallery.
