Photographer’s Note
Friday, October 13th
Early morning, sun rises
Working day starts
Note the changing colours in the sky, the lack of traffic on the bridge (left) and the birds flying quiet and peacefully around the Big Ben. I'm sure it's a view not many people get to see, since it's so early in the morning, but if you get to London, I do recommend you to get up early and enjoy views like this of London-city waking up.
This photo was taken from the Queen Elisabeth II Conference Centre which is located next to Westminster Abbey and opposite the Big Ben and House of Parliament. On Thursday 12th and Friday 13th of October I was working for a Forum I helped set up (as events assistant) in this centre. This is just a part of the view, but you can see it's just fabulous. The Forum was on the 4th, 5th and 6th floor - so you had a great view over this small part of the big city of London. It was just so beautiful to see this view late at night (no good picture) and early in the morning like this - with the sky above London changing colours.
