Photographer’s Note

Ranca Bali, Tea plantation at west java
this is at ciwidey area.

I have some tips for this area :
1. In the morning, when the sun about to rise (around 5), go to this place, kawah putih . Stay there just few minutes then,
2. before the sun goes high, go to camping ground .
3. after 1-2 hour at the camping ground (around 8), now you can go back to kawah putih. .
4. you can spend some time there until you fed up with the sulfur, then you can inhale fresh air at this place, the tea plantation.

Lovely shot. I like the very vivid colours, nice work. Good leading lines in this photo, such as the dark path? coming from the leftcorner and also one more clear path from the rightside. The cloudy sky is a nice addition. Great overview and good POV. I like the placing of trees just her and there, they add something to the green space.

There is something amazing about the POV you have here, maybe it's a very wide-angle view? The sky seems very intense and seems to press down from the top of the photo. Strange - but very impressive and compelling.

As a more than regular tea drinker I have to love this scene. Gorgeous landscape with all the hills and the tea shrubs. The sky spoils the landscape.
The note with your tips is excellent!

Wonderful place,I like those rolling hills and the play of light and shadows on the greens.Tea everywhere,hummm.
This is the kind of situation where a NDgrad filter will have been useful to diminish the exposition of the sky by one stop,or two,and not get a slighly overexposed sky.
I like the overall effect
