Old man at Tien'an'man Gate

People visit the famous Tien'an'men square and the red gates from far and wide, across the world, and not to mention from far corners of China. It was interesting to feel the sentiments of the Chinese people as they pass through the gate and touch huge red doors. A picture at this site is a souvenir for them. I was lucky enough to find a typical old man making his way to Beijing with his family and friends, like most who could visit the capital once or twice in their lifetime.

Hello Pak's,
Kamon cholchhe?! The background is red, typical of China. But the old man too seems to have a red left eye!!!!! Enjoy the great country with rich history, sometimes glorious, sometimes not so glorious and sometimes remarkably turbulent.
Overall, a nice portrait.

Another good portrait, Arnab. You arepostring a great work! This man looks so friendly... and the background is so good, I guess whichg strories are in this place and in this man.

Great shadows Arnab....
I like the smile & the contrast!...Deep sentiment it is!...To touch the gate of the emperors palace is to get some of the blessing from the emperor himself!....
Landa wide apart & yet the belief all the same...Asian Way.
Nice seen & your POV from slight lowering has worked magic.
