Photographer’s Note
This is one of the same group of fisherman as my earlier The Cigar Smoking Sardine Fisherman photo.
The town is Tangalla, on the south coast of Sri Lanka. It has only a small write up in the tourist guidebooks, and there were not many tourists there at all. The nets here have just been pulled out of the water with a catch of sardines. After the sardines are extracted from the net, the nets go onto the beach to dry.

hi Josh, it is a good shot, i like this B&W and the highr contrast in the picture, the scene is good too - the man at work. somehow i'd try though to avoid such centered composition, i'd try to compose a bit fdifferent, trying to capture the man from the side or coming coler to take a portrait. anyway, it is a nice shot

I actually like this sort of centered compo as seen here, because the nets around the man break the image up into small sections. I also like how he is looking out into the ocean here. Excellent shot!

A little overexposed, but generally a very nice TE picture, well done, you have captured it well and shows how his work is very hard

The fisherman is really putting an effort in it - he has a bit tense expression. Very nice shot, it's focus leads us where we must look. I like the strong contrast and the elegant frame. Good work, Josh!
