Grandiose Dingle Photo

Photographer’s Note

This is one of my favourtie views on the Dingle peninsula. You drive the road and admire already grandiose landscapes, when suddenly the road makes a curve and you discover THIS...it's really breathtaking and you can see it in totally different colours depending on the season. I have created a theme for it. Have look.

Hi Leonie - you're absolutely right, it's a gorgeous view, and you've captured it at a good time, with some nice clouds in the sky and excellent light. I like the pov and the quite strongly saturated colours. Technically well done, with good dof and sharpness. Nice work.

Agree with Jennifer (Spence) - this is a very well exposed and composed photo. The colours are well saturated, not too much, and the headlands stretching out behind the first one give a strong sense of depth. Nice clouds too. I travelled around the Dingle Peninsula by bike many years ago. It didn't stop raining all of that summer's day. But it's a wonderful area and I'd like to return one day.

Très belle vue de Dingle bien mise en valeur par les ces couleurs chaudes qui contrastent bien avec le bleu de la mer et du ciel.
J'étais allée à Dingle il y a quelques année etj'avais beaucoup aimé aussi !

Wonderful shot of a beautiful location. Dramatic landscape and big sky, very much in keeping with Dingle. I am surprised that this was shot around 2pm - the colours are superb. That little beach is somewhere I have always wanted to visit....some day...

Splendide cette image est très complète. Quelle nature avec cette lumière, mauquerait peut être quelques moutons :-)) mais ils sont sur la mer..

Hi Leonie,
Wooooow crazy, I was there for a few weeks and I fell in love with this place, it's as you say the most beautiful view of the Dingle Peninsula ;)
But when I was there, it's was cloudy and wet, so I don't take a lot of pictures...
Thanks for remind me this beautiful place and have a nice trip in Aisa ;)))

Wonderful capture of this breathtaking North Atlantic landscape.
Love the contrast of the lush green treeless foreground and the vivid blue sky.
The dramatic clouds look very impressive against the rugged coastline.
