Photographer’s Note
Here is the Millenium Brigde in London. This brigde is for pedastrians only. It is 325 m long and it crosses the River Thames. The brigde opened in June 2000 and costed £18.2m.
In the middle, you see the Saint Paul's Cathedral.
About the photo:
I rotated it, reframed it and I gave it a bit more light and contrasts. I resized and sharpened the photo in IrfanView.

Very nice shot of the bridge and surroundings - one thing I really like is the way the photo is centred, with the dome in the middle and then the bridge and all lines seeming to lead to the dome. I also like the inclusion of the people, who give this a sense of life and scale. Well done!

Stef,
this is great photo. I like it, but I think it would be better if it was Portrait photo, because now you have the Clock tower on the left and nothing on the right to balance, so there is disproporcion.

Hi Stef,
From this point of view, this seems to be very interesting merge between the bridge and the dome, i.e. between modern and old architecture.
I like the metal construction on the bothh sides of the bridge - they fit so well with lines of the dome.

Hej Stefan,
Prachtig foto van Londen. De architectuur van de brug ziet er erg mooi uit en de Saint Paul's Cathedral is een uitstekende achtergrond. Het licht is ook erg prettig. Prima werk!

Did you hear about how it had to be closed because it wobbled. They have stabilised it now.
Excellent symmetrical composition with the perspective leading the eye straight to St Paul's.

Hi Stef. That is a good contrast between old and new. I like the design of that bridge as well. I also like the way the light is interacting with the buildings.

Hi Stef,
Nice combination of two architectural styles, from the modern foreground to the more ancient background. I like here the side light, looks like late afternoon or early evening shot ?
Have a nice day,

Dag Stef,
Prettige week,
John

A much photographed London landmark, especially from this viewpoint, but you've taken this very well. The composition and framing is spot-on, and I like how you managed to avoid having people too close in the foreground.
The only way I think this could be improved would be to take it in better light, in the early morning or evening for example.
Cheers,
Ben

Hi Stef,
I've just discovered this photo thanks to a comment of someone else and I can't believe I missed it in your gallery before. It's a true masterpiece -- so crystal clear and sharp, with fantastic colours and perspective. It reminds me the best photos of our friend Norbert. Very well done.
Thanks,
Marek
