Photographer’s Note
This was the overwhelming impression of our week in northern France, but at least the oportunity for some interesting weather shots. Though on this occassion I took the camara I use when I don't take a camera, since it slipped into a plastic bag in my pocket.

Quite a moody light in this view across the field, Richard. Certainly the right choice to give proper attention to this threatening sky in the framing, and good to have the colorful roofs in the back as something for the eyes to arrive at after sweeping across the greenery. Simple, but nice.

Hi Rich,
a lovely view. I like the threatening sky over the calm grassy field. The buildings are well positioned and give scale to the scene.

Hi Richard, an impressive weatherscape here with lotsa atmosphere. I like the way the way the houses are sandwiched between the horizontal layers of the finely rendered field and the threatening sky.
Have a nice weekend,
Bert

Hi Richard
Good idea to cut this picture at one third from the bottom, giving the sky a more threatening look and a heavier atmosphere.
