Photographer’s Note

The Copenhagen Opera was inaugurated on 2005
January 15th. The building, designed by the Danish architect Henning Larsen, includes 1'450 places, 14 stages and 2 scenes for a total surface of 41'000 m2. The cost of 336 million euros was entirely financed by Maersk Mc-Kinney Moeller, 92 years, the richest man of the country, owner of the maritime group and oil A.P. Moeller-Maersk.
