Photographer’s Note
Second shot from this superb place. Apart from the collection, and the building, the other great thing about it was a very relaxed approach to photographers, and other artists, making use of their exhibits.

Hi Richard,
You show our a lovely symmetric painting through the two portraits at both sides, but without name of the painters, also the middle with the paintress make your picture attractive.
Have a nice week,
John

Hi Richard
I like the way the two sideworks (strange word) looks at the artist - you got this working artist just great - thanks for sharing.

Hi Richard!
Its a very interesting shot! Kind of painting was typical in the 19th century. Its rare today. Very good moment, nice composition and impression! Thank you, nice days,
George

A charming picture Richard. I love that overblown romantic picture caught betwen those two rather somber and sensorious ooking, 19th century portraits. And the copyist has honed in on the most romantic moment, the touching of the lips. You have arranged the ellments of the image nicely. Actually, I like not seeing the painter's face. It increases the sense that she is the voyeur.

Nicely seen Richard, how the man in the portrait seems to look at her very plaesed, the artist well placed aside to see of her work and the original painting.

Hi Richard,
Observations in museums belongs to my favourites. This one is very funny too, because we can’t she the picture she is copying. ( I suppose it is more to the right) Now it seems that she is painting some original painting without example and than it is an odd place to stand.

Hello Richard,
I like the fact that you approached this painter from the right angle. We can see what she does, where she paints from , and a bit around. I should absolutely visit this Museum next time. Cheers Izzet

An artist making a picture of an artist making a painting of an artist, that's just funny !
