Photographer’s Note
This is a fisherman coming off the shore after fishing a tide using the haaf beam. This is a wooden "gola post" type construction with a net strung across. The haaf netters wait for the incoming or outgoing tide and for the fish to swim into a channel of water that the beam is held across. They fish for Salmon mainly and when one hits the net it is quickly flipped over the cross beam to be trapped and put in the bag on the fisherman's back.

An excellent shot of a man at work Bev, and I think your composition is very good. There's enough space around the man so we can put him in the context of his environment and I like how you've framed it so that the frame of the net transects the frame from the top right corner.
Excellent work.
