Photographer’s Note

Xochimilco is certainly a place for photographers visiting Mexico City, especially on Sundays this place is remarkably full of Mexicanos who wish to spend the day sailing end lunching around the canals and eventually inviting "mariachis" aboard for more fun. Here boatmen are preparing for the rush, and soon there will no boats left at the pier.

A quite packed frame at first sight, Izzet, but a well-spotted motive to benefit from the graphical and colorful assets offered by these carnival boats. Good to have a few folks included on board in the foreground. Cropping-wise I would perhaps wish to see just a few millimeters more at the left (to give some space beside the colorful sign of the lefthand boat, basically). Interesting shot.

Fantastic colors!! At last a pic of your that I could have done by myself.. visiting such a place!! I would have been happy to be there!

Izzet talk about amazing color and design all over these boats!! It certainly makes for some interesting compositions. Good capture here !

Magnifica fotografia, as cores estão bem vivas e nitídas, formando um contraste e uma "salada" de cores muito bonita, realmente é um assunto muito interessante!
Deveria vir fotografar no Brasil também, acharia muitos temas bons para fotografar!
