Taken at the begining of a transatlantic sailboat trip while still within US terratorial waters. The 155ft sailboat sets her sails and blasts eastwards under reefed main.

Really good capture. Your use of f/10 really made the movement appear and a get a real sense of speed from the sail boat. Colours are rich and very sharp.

Hello,
illusion de vitesse et de déplacement bien perceptible. Il fallait que le pied soit rudement bien fixé pour obtenir une netteté totale sur le bateau et ce filé sur l'eau.
Bravo aussi pour le cadrage.

Great shot and would like to say looked at your photography before going on a sailing trip. Took similar photo's but the waves were a bit bigger! Thank you for the inspiration.
