Cicada in Camouflage Photo

Photographer’s Note

I am danish, and to me the eternal sound of cicadas is very different from everyday sounds at home.
It is the sound of Southern Europe to me.
I heard them singing for days without any luck of spotting these fellows, but one day - in the hot midday sun- when I visited Massif de L'Esterel I discovered this one sitting right in front of me on a small tree. They are very well camouflered.

Hello Jan,
Very well captured. Sharpness is perfect. Light is brillant. Your right it is very difficult to see them. What looks very surprising because in the south you can hear then loudly and it seems there is a lot of them everywhere but most of time you don't see them.
So well done.
