Photographers Note
My trip to Morocco last April, was not the first one, I was there in 1989 . At that time we also visited the sand desert at Merzouga, near the Algerian border, and watched the sunrise from there. This young man was trying to sell me ammonites, which are found in this area, but I was more interested in taking pictures. The sand had a golden hue which I am fond of. Where does the title " Golden Triangle" come from ? I leave the answer to the evetual viewers.

Beautiful framing of this one, Izzet. The sun angle and the way in which it casts the shadows brings forward a good graphical aspect of the scene and also enhances the surface textures and golden tonality of the sand in a good manner. The sitting person in the background is ideal for the compositional balance. Quite good scanning quality; a few grains in the sky but clearly outweighed by the compositional and artistic merits, I think.

Hi Izzet,
I'd like to see the original slide of this shot. I'm sure its extraordinary. There's room for improvement here in the quality of the scan, for example the sky is a bit "blocky" and its been a bit over-sharpened.
Despite this, the sheer quality of the work shines through. The composition is excellent, as are the beautiful rich colours. I'm guessing that your title refers to the two triangular areas of golden sand that are seperated by the boy's shadow.
An excellent shot, thanks for sharing some of your older work.

You got a nice tone of the sky and sand. Nice expression of the face too. Good job!

A very good composition of the picture and interesting scene noticed... I think however that you should have bought some fossils from him... :)

Very good photo, Izzet.
I don't see any golden triangle, but I see the triangle from the young man, his shadow and the sitting man. I think that the artistic value of the photo comes from the shadow, you were positioned perfectly for this capture. About the scan, I won't even comment on the quality, I think it comes in second place in a photo like this.
take care, Aleks

Hocam merhaba,
mavi gök ve altın tonu kum rengi plan üstünde, çocuk ve gölgesinin oluşturduğu açı içinde kırmızı kollu oturan adam büyük bir ustalığın yansıması..muhteşem..

Excelent collors. Really a magical triangle. I loved every detail of the composition: the sand, the clothes, the foot appearing, the guy in red and blue in the backgroud.

I love this one, Izzet. Excellent perspective here, and wobderful position of the man on the hill. The strange sky only do good to this image, IMO. Beautiful.

Eye catching photo, Izzet. The colors so intensive, it's practically impossible to miss the thumbnail.
Typical "I'll build up the composition' approach.
And quite succesful I must admitt.
Ready to sell for good bucks to some advertising company
perhaps.
Travel office' poster of Morocco? Air Lines commercial photo..?
Designed photo. Good photo. Pro photo.
