Your pov create a strong and impressive with a "common" structure. The buildings get vertiginous, the dof is excellent and even adds depth... Good inspiration.

Bonjour mon bon ami Hans,
Vous connaissez ma préférence pour les vieilles pierres, ici, je n'hésiterai pas, je choisirai ce magnifique pignon avec ces bas-reliefs, dont un, datant de 1634. Cela dit, il faut vivre avec son temps et la modernité, apporte également beaucoup.
Le cadrage ne manque pas d'élégance.

This is a great shot of typical Dutch architecture, both old and modern. I like your viewpoint, its created quite a dynamic composition.

A very impressive and powerful angle, Hans, showing old vs new in a very effective way. I like Amsterdam's old buildings, with that hook at the top, which is well seen here, against the sky, and also the stepped roof which ends somwhere in the sky. Beautiful shot.

Good way to show the contrast between old and new. The perspective view in both directions somehow makes the buidings two dimensional; a bit like facades in a Hollywood lot. Very interesting.

Hoi Hans, fijn dat je weer aan het posten bent, ik heb je gemist. Dit is weer zo'n sterke A'dam capture zoals we die van je kennen - zeer goed gekozen hoek, mooi dramatisch hier, en een zeer goed weergegeven contrast tussen de verschillende bouwstijlen/tijdperken met een kleurcontrast die het afmaakt. Goed werk man en hartelijke dank voor alle aandacht bij mijn werk. Ik keer van de week verder terug naar het nieuwe deel van je portfolio.

Hi Hans - interesting angle, I like the contrasting architectural styles, the old one looks interesting, as if it only consists of a thin façade

Hoe heeft u dit klaargespeeld om het oude gebouw en het nieuwe naast elkaar, 1634 en 2006 naast elkaar, in originele kleuren.
