Photographer’s Note
EUROPEAN ROBIN (Rouge-Gorge) Lenght: 14cm, weight: 16 to 22 grams. Not too familiar, very quick, shows his feeling of danger by quick tail movements. Not impressed by taller birds like the blackbird.
Tech: This has been taken thru a window, just before the chap left, noticing a presence. Due to distance, image had to be greatly enlarged, showing too much noise. First time I'm trying NeatImage. A great software.

Nice shot! I like the way you've captured the Robin in the light against the darker background and you've done well not to overexpose him - I like the catchlight in his eye too. Without seeing the original it's hard to say, but my feeling is that you might have overdone the NeatImage. Would you mind posting the original as a Workshop for me? A good informative note and well captured :-)

J'utilise Neatimage avec parcimonie pour éviter de créer des contours sur le sujet.
Mais l'image du rouge gorge est correcte, j'apprécie l'éclairage latéral.
I use Neatimage with parsimony to avoid creating contours on the subject. But the image of the robin is correct, I appreciate side lighting.

Good shot, Jean Michel. I like the shape and clarity of the bird, and of course its colours. I wish the shadow was more defined, but it is still good. Well captured.

This is a lovely shot - I like the color contrast, the way the bird is eyeing you, the side light, and good notes. I think the white forground is a bit bright, and maybe too much heavy bricks over the bird's head. I think you did pretty well with the NeatImage. I have not tried it yet. Overall, very nice!

Yes the NI work is noticeble here, and it's a great software!
Good composition with nice colors. Miss a only a bit of sharpening to enhance the details NI blured a bit, and then probably a reduction of the highlights because the to much brightness around the birds claws is visible.
