Photographer’s Note

The street numbers on the houses and shops in Arinsal all look like this. Some have a bit more corrosion. Some have drips of paint on them. It is interesting that the numbers predate many of the buildings, so number 1 is in the middle of the village and lots of buildings have no number visible. In general, mail is addressed to the name of the building rather than the number, anyway.

Almost all the buildings in Andorra are faced with rough stone, which I find very attractive.

Interesting combination of rusty metal and stone. I also like those two round rivets – they are very important elements for the image, I think.

Now the question is, will you show us all 27 of them ;) just kidding. I will have to agree with both clodreno and olli on this one. The structure is very well defines and i like the combination of metall and stone. I also think that the very centered position is working well here.

A strange effect, the rusty iron plate on the rocks. A bit oversaturated for my taste. The opposition between the two elements works well. Informative note.

Rust on rocks, an interesting combination Peter! The clear difference in the two different types of textures makes this picture really work and I find the colour toning striking too. Excellent work!
