A shaving light came to propose these young people in their search.

Cette bande de gamins plus intéressés par les coquillages que par le photographe est vraiment sympa. Ils restent naturels et c'est d'autant mieux pour le résultat. C'est simple mais bien vu.

The colors are in a lovely soft blue, and the children detach themselves from the rest not only by their shape (vs rock and water) but also by their detached attitude. They are there without really being here, as if in their own world of some parallel dimension. A truly lovely capture of childhood and its magical moments.
The composition is very powerful, with that interesting shape forming at the top of the picture: is it a bigger wave or just a reflection of something else?

bonjour Philippe
Je l'avais vue passer, j'aime beaucoup la lumière ici. et puis il y a les moments saisis par les gestes des enfants. celui du milieu qui tend son bras au cas où il aurait besoin de son copain. les deux frangins (même t-shirt), tous deux en retrait.
C'est cool, avec le bleu de la mer pour arrière plan.

this is a wonderful photo philippe. i like the line of children moving through your shot. it's very nice. i also like the dark colours of the photograph. simple but beautiful.
