Photographer’s Note
A shot of the The Niagara Falls, a classic tourist detination in Canada. I like the combination of the magnificent water, the mist and the snow (+ I wanted to post a picture of Canada to get this country on my map). The day was grey, so colors are not great. I rotated 1 degree clockwise, sharpened, increased contrast and removed blue hue.
"Nature has left an indelible mark on the Niagara region. The Canadian Falls, with a height of 54 metres (177ft), and the American Falls, at 56 metres (184ft) high, are true wonders of nature. Royalty, poets, and celebrities have all come to Niagara to experience its awe inspiring wonders

great shot of the wonderful niagara falls, yvonne! :-)
i really like the winterly combination of snow and mist,
as i only from the summer-view from my visit there.
due to the mist one cannot see the end of the falls,
like the water is falling into nothing.
well done & take care, thor.
