Kite Festival is continuing...

Every year a kite festival is being organized during the cherry blossom festival in Washington DC... On a windy saturday afternoon hundreds of kites were swinging in the sky... Some of them were battleing with eachother.. Some of them were just having the wind beneath their wings... all very colorfull and charming...People from all ages... all of them with a childish, cheerfull, happy look into their eyes...She is one of them..
She was fully concentrated into her childhood...
....

hi Cengiz, the expression in her face is what makes this really interesting. Maybe it would have been nicer without the girl in the back but not much you can do about it I guess. Nice capture, Tali

Vous avez raison, pourquoi aller chercher des choses compliquées quand on a la possibilité de savourer des petits moments de bonheur avec un cerf-volant. Ici, la joie et le plaisir sont manifestes sur le visage des petits et des grands à jouer avec ces cerfs-volants.

Hi Cengiz, weel spotted! That ecpressions of pleasure and excitement. Her eyes and het mouth says it all. I too have a kite, although I seldom play with it anymore, but when I was a child I used to make a lot of kites, and often went out with my kite.

Hi Cengiz, this is a great action shot. I love the concentration on the woman's face. The cables are good leading lines to direct our attention to the subject. The other person is slightly distracting, especially with her red coat but at least her details are softened by the shallow DOF.
