An interesting and thought provoking shot. I first thought it would be better for the gargoyle to be in focus, but then realised you were trying to create an atmosphere where you are surrounded and being watched. The out of focus 'minders' in the foreground frame the image well and give a perfect illusion of watching the other building, but not from too far. Well seen., great shot.

Great job, Isabbele. Excellent b/w composition. Cropping, framing, sharpness, DOF, contrast, are all great. Very well seen, and very very well captured, Isabel.

This is a strange and delightful image. Choosing to focus on the building in the background was an interesting choice, and this choice does some weird psychological things as I view the photo. Had you focused on the gargoyle, the photo would have been a fun image about a gargoyle. But you are much too complex for that! Focusing on the building behind shifts the thought energies to the windows and the people behind the windows who live there--so your focus choices take our thoughts far beyond the frame of the photo itself. Really unique and ingenious.

Gosto bastante da agressividade desta imagem. Tem um ambiente bastante "gótico". A utilização do PB é excelente e combina bem com a gárgula.

O pormenor das janelas cortadas da esquerda é muito bo e juntamente com o desfocado da coluna (ao inicio não estava muito seguro deste pormenor) criam um "desequilibrio" na imagem que empura o nosso olhar para os principais elementos da composição.

C'est une très jolie composition mais je pense que le sujet central aurait du être la bête du premier plan (the guardian), le noir et balnc ser bien l'atmosphère que dégage cette photo.
