"Rorbuer" village Photo

Photographer’s Note

At the entry of a sinuous fjord, the splendid village of Nusfjord to Lofoten.
A village de"rorbuer" renovated in 1975 at the time of the European year of architectural protection.
But do you know what are "rorbuer" or rorbus ?
These are the huts painted in red and which were used formerly to place the many fishermen come in the archipelago at the time to fish cod. Huts which make, nowadays, especially the happiness of the estivants in the summer... to find the time of a stay of holidays the authentic environment of these ports is a true pleasure.

Lofoten Seris is a must and now this pretty village in the fjord is so well captured by your signature. Excelent view perspective in a splendid enquadrement. So many precious details captured with these small beautiful houses and boats living near the sea waters. Good handling of light, vivid colors and fine sharpness. A great one in this Serie. Cette photo donne envie d'y retourner. Tu as vraiment eu de la chance avec la météo. J'adore le rouge et jaunes des immeubles ainsi que le petit groupe de bateaux. Les paysages sont splendides aussi.

une vue bien sympathique de ce fjord avec tous ces rorbus ... le POV est beau et le cadrage est bien pensé.
Une bonne gestion de la lumiere.
Par contre un petit point me gène : le terme de morue, vaste discours ... pour certains elle ne se peche pas puisque c'est l'appelation du poisson salé et séché ... on peche le cabillaud .... pour d'autre le cabillaud est le nom du poisson mature et morue celui du poisson immature ... on y perd son latin ... allez vivement Paques que la grand mere de mon épouse nous ramene des beignets de morue (;))

Salut Jean,

Certes colorés... mais moins que les palafitos de Chiloé ;o). On est loin des marinas "pied dans l'eau" de béton. Et dire que tu étais au delà du cercle polaire...merci le Gulf-Stream.

Ton cadrage est parfait avec le port; le fjord, la limidité de l'eau.

C'est vrai que c'est joli Nusfjord... Et j'apprécie cette vue sous le soleil puisque je suis arrivée à ce village juste après que le soleil ait disparu derrière les montagnes... (Trois jours, c'est trop court!). Ta photo met en valeur le magnifique site dans lequel ce village est construit, ainsi que le bel arrondi de ce port, avec les maisons comme blotties en rond autour des bateaux. Et bien sûr, les couleurs!

Cela doit être un des eul endroits où j'ai eu un petit rayon de soleil lorsque j'étais aux Lofoten! C'est aussi à peu près la photo qu'il y a sur la carte "freytag & Berndt" du nord de la Norvège! Nous d'ailleurs essayé de reproduire exactement la photo de cette carte mais pour cela il fallait escalader un rocher!
En tout cas, c'est une belle composition... On regrette les fils électriques mais je sais que c'est typique des Lofoten ;)
