Photographer’s Note

The fjord of Reine in the south of the archipelago of Lofoten.
The site is imposing, can be the beautiful one of this archipelago which counts so many superb panoramas. It is a digest of the beauty of the Norwegian coasts: mountains with peaks, slopes green, blue water and villages with coloured houses... one can only admire!

Very nice shot Jean,
a very nice point of view, the depth is great and the red roofs are a nice detail in the shot and it has a good dof, very good job.

This is a really beautiful shot - though with scenery like this how can you fail. Love the compostition and the colours. A place I intend visiting next year.

cest un paysage magique, j'adore la poition geogrphique du village, ue tres jolie melange des coloeurs.
Je pense que cela aurrais etait encore mieur si tu l'avais cadre plus haut.

Good details from the little village along the main road out there. (BTW did you visit the little but very exclusive fish shop at that place?)

je suis entierement d'accord avec toi ... on admire et c'est tout ... que c'est beau et reposant. Et ton POV s'ouvre sur une vue magnifique. Un bon cadrage, que je t'ai retravaillé en WS ... je trouvais que le panorama lui donnait plus d'ampleur (point de vue personnel).
Ton premier plan est bien soigné, et le fjord bien mis en valeur ...

Hello Jean,
une des plus prises de ces îles dont tu nous auras fait découvrir tous les charmes.
L'arrière plan est ici spectaculaire, tout baigne dans des couleurs intenses et dans une précision parfaite.
Ce petit village semble une maquette au milieu du décor.
C'est hyper joli.

Hi Jean - superb rugged scenery, the sharp peaks look like something from a fairy tale, I visited in 1998 and will try to go back there this year.

comme tu dis c'est un condensé des beautés Norvegiennes et la qualité de l'image saute aux yeux,les couleurs,le piqué...une de tes meilleures de Norvege,tu l'avais egarée dans ton Disque dur?

Hélas je me contente d'horribles HLM.
Des couleurs très appréciables.
Un panorama méritait d'être fait, oh juste deux photos;))

I'm just browsing, saw this on the home page and not posting yet so please don't waste your smilies on me. This is a wonderful composition on a place I've critiqued before, obviously a popular destination. Your pov is first class with good colour, especially the roofs that contrast so well with the green & blue. The backdrop of the mountains is superb. A fine capture, well done my friend.

Voilà un paysage qui me fait rêver!!!
Ah le nord de l'Europe. J'ai décidément un petit (voir grand) faible pour cette partie du globe.
Ici la compo est tout simplement parfaite. Tous les éléments sont parfaitement intégrés. Le point de vue est superbe et je parle même pas de la lumière et des couleurs...

Je revisitais par hasard ta galerie, et je me suis rendu compte que je n'avais même pas émis de commentaire sur cette photo qui figure pourtant parmi mes préférés des Lofoten
Je vais donc régler ceci immédiatement
Félicitations pour cette magnifique photo illustrant parfaitement ces paysages grandioses, très découpés dans lesquels les norvégiens se sont intégrés à merveille avec leur petites maisons rouges.
