In India it's considered sacred to feed the fish with pori (puffed rice). This is supposed to wash ones sin..
The photo was taken at Kapaleeswarar kovil kolam, a water tank near the temple at Chennai. The tank was barricaded but this little boy climbed over it to feed some pori to the fishes...

B/W looks great. The different composition in the water forms a wonderful effect. The motion of the boy is also perfectly captured.
