Photographer’s Note
"Deep into that darkness peering, long I stood there wondering, fearing,
Doubting, dreaming dreams no mortal ever dared to dream before;
But the silence was unbroken, and the darkness gave no token...."

A very eerie, atmospheric shot, Animesh, one I adore for its mood and apt Poe quote... and of course for the contrasts, the graininess that just enhance the sense of unease that overpowers me when I come back to your shot. Well done!

It does have an unsettling feel to it. The tiles look great in the reflecting light- they steal some of the thunder from the man in black, but I don't think I would change it in any way. The grain is excellent. Good shot.

Excellent. A terrible sense of foreboding. The grain is an integral part of the image.

I really like how his shadow disapears into the tile. It is strange how the posture and the cap are so defined but the rest fades away so quickly. It definitely has a dark menacing presence to it.
very nice

I like the grain... gives THE atmosphere... it seems to be ghosts in the photo... well done!
