Photographer’s Note

Iranian wedding customs differ quite a lot from, let say, polish.
We were lucky to attend such ceremony during our trip.
There was no formal, sacred (ew. in the mosque) ceremony in the beginning. All people went to the house of bride, from where bridegroom took her, and we all went to the restaurant to eat something.
In Poland eating (and of course drinking) is the most important part of celebrations. Here it was strictly "technical" - just a lunch so that guest have power for the forthcoming dances.
The bulk of guest ate in separated room, here was place for bride and bridegroom and .. us - my travel team and our new Iranian friends. The funniest was that when we entered this room, this table in front was occupied by bride and bridegroom, but someone told them to sit in the corner and vacate the place for us!

After eating we went elsewhere for dancing.
