Photographer’s Note
This is the south coast of Iceland at approximately 11 pm on an August evening. Iceland is one of the most beautiful countries I know and for a photographer it has a lot to offer. Great spectacular scenery, unspoiled nature, clean air and in the summer light practically 24 hours a day. The fishing on the coast is good (you can catch sole and cod directly from many piers such as this) and of course the rivers abound with trout and salmon.
The photo was taken with a Pentax compact in 1988, scanned, cropped and touched-up slightly with PS. I am still not satisfied with the quality of my scanned images, but I am working on it.
One year later: After having learned how to use certain tools I have posted a workshop to this.
