Transportation to The Beach - Maya Bay Photo

Photographer’s Note

This photo was taken in Maya Bay, the place of the movie "The Beach" with Di Caprio.
On photo you can see two (or three) ways to go there: with a cheap slow local boat or an expencive fast boat.
Of course if you are coming from Phuket with must take the faster boat because is far. But you are in Koh Phi Phi Don I recomend the adventure of take the small local boat.
For sure with the slower boat your tour will be longer than the others and you gonna have more time to appreciate the island.

Good foto of Maya Bay with a fantastic color of the water.I remember verry well.
It´s also nice that you show us the different kinds of transportation-possibiltities.Good composition with the boats and a verry clear shot.

Hi Leonardo,
Very good capture of the marvellous beauty of Thai nature.
This light blue has a real charming effect.
The only thing which distracts me is the position of the boats. They are too high, too up in the layout of the photo. But you can easily overcome this by some basic cropping I guess.
