Photographer’s Note

Svolvaer, the capital of the archipelago of Lofoten, a small city where sit more the share of the administrations of the islands as well as the trade... can be not most picturesque of the villages of Lofoten but the city has a certain charm with its port and some typical residences, like here close to the port and when the sun is present and that the reflections of the red walls dance on water, the point of view is splendid.

Bonsoir Jean,
Petit port très sympathique aux maisons rouges très bien entretenues. Une légère brise d'été qui fait danser le drapeau au loin. Les montagnes en arrière-plan, le tout forme un charmant endroit.
Excellente netteté, beaucoup de détails à travers cette composition.

Jean bonjour - je fais souffler le chaud et toi tu fais souffler le froid, mais de bien belle manière - j'adore toute ta série sur les pays nordiques (je ne les connais pas du tout) - encore une très belle image, superbement composée, avec des tons très clairs et des reflets splendides - Merci et bon week end

On ne verra jamais ces couleurs en France, Il n'y a que les pays Scandinaves qui permettent ces constructions rouges, oranges, noir.
Cela contraste parfaitement avec le paysage et le reflet est agréable à la vue.

Une netteté parfaite pour cette photo, bien composées avec toutes ces maisons rouges et les montagnes au fond. Les couleurs sont saturés à souhait et ce rouge crée un beau contraste avec le bleu profond de l'eau.

les rouges font bon ménage avec les bleus même dans les extrème intensité comme sur cette photo.
Ca fait du bien de voir des photos d'été par ce grand froid actuel.
Une netteté sans contestation et un cadrage admirable.

Rouge, oui, et doublement rouge. Un reflet comme ça, évidemment ça démange.. ;-)
Jolie petite ville aux couleurs dépaysantes. J'aime bien aussi le format de l'image, par ailleurs de très belle qualité.

Beautiful colors and light. I was in Svolvaer and I remembered this city as green (because the wonderfull green montains), but I like this red version too. Fantastic photo.

La reflection dans l'eau est superbe, les couleurs aussi.
Je suis moins fan de la présence des vedettes et du voilier moderne.

you are right, this village has a certain charm with it's red coloured buildings and the mountains in the background. It's the reflections of the yachts and the buildings that make this extra special. Well composed.
