Photographer’s Note
This is a picture taken at Taksim Square, just before the Istiklal Caddesi (Istiklal Boulevard), in Istanbul. The two men in the middle of the doves, feeding them, just caught my attention. The picture was shot in color, but I tought it would look better in B&W.
On one side of the square, there is a monument to the independence (I might post it later) and on the other the amazing and vibrant Istiklal Caddesi, where I could spend hours just wandering around (as a matter of fact, while we stayed in Istanbul, I visited the boulevard every day). This pedestrian area is lined by beautiful 19th century buildings, including several consulates and embassies. There are also shops and hundreds of eating places with fabulous food.

yvonne,
i like the idea of presenting this
shot in b/w but it may have caused the noise in the shot. nice expressive shot of a moment.
