Photographer’s Note
I took this picture in Colliure, France. This small restaurant catched my attention because of the bright, lively colors of its decoration which match perfectly the colorful atmosphere in Colliure. Through the window, you can see more from the colors of teh town.
Colliure is a small town near the borderline with Spain, which is characterized by its eye-catching colors. Houses are painted in bright, beautiful colors and the decorations are also colorful. For example, there were cloth pegs in color degradé in front of one of the houses. As Gerard points out, it is and was a favorite venue for many painters, such as Matisse.
A small detail, I just found out Colliure existed, because I found some amazing pictures here in TrekEarth. I am really glad that I visited it and I will post some additional pictures later. I just thought to start with one which truly transmits Colliure's colorful nature. I hope you like it, too.

Bonjour Yvonne,

Cordialement
Gérard
