Photographer’s Note
Kyoto, like most Japanese cities, is a crowded place, and it can be hard for an American to get used to the much smaller "personal space" that the crowds allow one in public. People are packed together and swirling by, which is what I tried to capture here.
This is somewhat similar to this photo that I posted some time ago, but I decided I liked the current one better.

Great capture of the hustle and motion of the crowded city. The movement of the people is both creative and very effective (the kind of thing that I never seem to think of!) and the diagonal line of the buildings on the street shows the city very well. Great work!
