Photographer’s Note
I found it to be quite a challenge to find a new angle on something as photographed as the Sacre Cour church in Montemartre. This porttrait of one of the gargoyles on the white building was the closest I got to an original shot.
I tried to keep the DOF sufficiently shallow so that the contours of the building are recognizable.
The BW is acheived by going monochroome in the channel mixer and then lowering the blue channel and adding to the red and green ones. This darkens the blue sky. Apart from that the only PS work is levels, curves and sharpening.
Hope you like it.

Bonjour Mikkel,
Très belle réussite de cette gargouille qui prend des airs inquiétants au milieu de la nuit.
Excellente technique photographique qui traduit bien les photographies de votre album.
J'aime beaucoup.
Félicitations.
Amitiés.
Philippe
